    8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Spend the day in beautiful Thomasville, GA and tour four unique, historic churches. St. Thomas Episcopal was founded in 1868 and has five Tiffany pieces. First United Methodist Church’s beautiful brick structure was completed in 1885. Different colored bricks were made from local clay. First Presbyterian Church was built in 1888. President Eisenhower and his wife attended services here while in town. The inside ceiling beams of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church are structured like an inverted slave ship. The second floor was a 1950’s private school for African American children. It is very well preserved with desks, chalk boards, and even a working school bell. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Empire Bagel and Deli.
