  • Great Artists: Georgia O’Keeffe
     September 14, 2022
     2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

When one considers the most original and most provoking painters in the 20th century, it is no surprise that Wisconsin born Georgia O’Keeffe is always among them. Like Spaniard, Pablo Picasso, she was productive over many decades and never slavishly adhered to any specific artistic movement, she sought to “capture the emotion and power of objects” through abstracting the natural world.

Instructor and local artist, Tom Friedman, will present a view her work and discuss her relationship to Alfred Stieglitz (renowned photographer), lover, husband, and promoter of her work.

Hybrid class, in person at the TSC and on Zoom.
