Historic Monticello’s Moonlight Cemetery Walk is like no other cemetery tour you’ve taken.  Here, you’ll visit both stately and modest burial sites of local and state leaders, one of Florida’s Founding Fathers, and an internationally respected WWII hero, as well as ordinary people. All their stories will inspire you, and make you look at your life a little differently.
As you walk, you’ll hear about Victorian funeral symbols, burial customs, and two unusual cemetery innovations.  You’ll be invited to listen to storytelling and participate in some transcendent experiences, along the way, and guides just might lead you into a conversation with a Spirit. We can guarantee a unique and engaging experience. The moonlight, however, is up to Mother Nature. Your guides are Linda “Schuyler” Ford and Michael Blain. Schuyler is a skilled storyteller, Victorian history nerd, and has led tours of New York’s Sleepy Hollow Cemetery for several years before moving to Tallahassee. Michael is a history buff, professional speaker, and practitioner of mystical experience.
