Political Scientist Dr. Suzanne Parker examines the effects of party, issues, candidates, ideology, and “nature of the times” (for example the economy) on presidential voting. It also looks at realigning elections and evaluates if 2020 is likely to be realigning election. This is a nonpartisan explanation of election outcomes. This course examines major theories from Political Science that are used to explain election outcomes in the United States.
