Spoken Word Artist Linda Schuyler Ford weaves together folktales, literary tales, and true personal stories in this storytelling invitation to Create. Peace.
The stories-poignant, funny, colorful-invite thoughts and conversations about peace…in our minds, our hearts, our communities. Yet, they also stand on their own as engaging entertainment.
You will hear diverse stories about dragons, a cemetery tour, an enslaved family, a man who thinks he is always right. You will be carried away to other worlds. Sit back, enjoy the ride. And the storyteller will lead you safely home again. Each story will be followed by a brief meditation and an opportunity to share your thoughts within the circle of listeners.
Linda Schuyler Ford is a storyteller, originally from Sleepy Hollow, NY. She enjoys telling all kinds of stories, but especially loves stories of peace, women’s stories, and stories of the magical Hudson River Valley. She lives in Tallahassee, and recently retired from Elder Care Services.
