Class Description

Discover the simplicity and power of monochromatic painting using white plus a color of your choice. This workshop encourages dramatic, individualistic expression and can be approached in either an Abstract or an Impressionist style, or a mix of both. Bring three canvases or boards, you might use them all! Work from a guided tutorial or follow your own imagination to complete a painting in one session.

Materials

2-3 canvases or canvas boards (11×17 and square canvases work well)

Acrylic paint set: should include the colors – extra white, black or another color of your choice. (instructor uses Gotadeal from Amazon)

4 brushes. Small for details, medium flat brush, medium round brush, large flat brush.

Cosmetic sponges. Purchase at Walmart, Target or Publix in make-up department.
