The Homegrown National Park is a grassroots call to action to restore biodiversity and ecosystem function by planting native plants. This presentation by Tallahassee resident, Rob Williams, is about how this idea has been implemented in his typical Tallahassee yard and how everyone can be part of what has been called the “largest cooperative conservation project ever conceived or attempted.” We will discuss how many people taking a few simple actions on their home grounds can address the biodiversity crisis. Following the talk, participants will have the opportunity to visit the yard which is the on the Map of the Homegrown National Park.
