Fridays, 9:30am – 12pm

This class is for students who have taken Beginning Drawing.  The exercises and habits formed will contribute to every drawing you make. The effort made is not for one particular drawing but for the experience you are having. Learning to draw is really a matter of learning how to see. It is the relationship of thoughts and actions. Your progress will come from the increased knowledge with which you look at life around you. The most important thing is not how much you know but how much you can do. Everyone will find practice is the best tool which will eventually find its way into all of your artwork. Date a selection of your drawings and keep them as a record of your progress.

*18” x 24” Newsprint pad

*Drawing paper w/texture Manila or Gray (any size)

*3B&4B pencil

*White pencil

*Pencil sharpener

*Vinyl eraser or a knead-able eraser

*Cork backed ruler

*Black Sharpie Marker
