  • Local Invasive Plants Presentation and Hike

Leon County has problems with many invasive plant and animal species. Common, invasive exotic plants can be difficult to manage for homeowners. Mark Tancig, commercial / residential Horticulture Agent at UF/IFAS Extension Leon County will give a presentation on some of the invasive plants in our region and how to get rid of them followed by a short hike to identify some of these pests.

Using your own transportation: By 9:00 am at Leon County Extension Office 615 Paul Russell Rd.

Using Senior Center transportation: By 8:30 am in Tallahassee Senior Center Dining Room.
