Black Violin is an American hip-hop duo from Fort Lauderdale, Florida comprised of two classically trained string instrumentalists, Kev Marcus who plays the violin and Wil B. who plays the viola. This all-new, high-energy performance, provided to our TSC LLL program by Opening Nights at FSU, takes their unique blend of classical music,

hip-hop, jazz, and pop to new heights. Included in the performance is an uplifting hip-hop version of Mozart’s 40^th symphony. Recorded at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, this engaging high definition multi-camera video covers themes of perseverance, exploration, and unity.
