Watch and listen as Dr. Frank M. Chapman (1864 -1945) comes to life on stage to recount his many adventures and exploits in ornithology, exploration, and museum display. This pioneer in biogeography also laid the foundation for South American bird study and began the Christmas bird count tradition. Chapman is portrayed by biographer Jim Huffstodt, a published author who spent 25 years working for state wildlife conservation agencies in Florida and Illinois. He will be interviewed by local author and naturalist, Doug Alderson.
