Expired 031 Gulf Specimen Marine Lab & Dock Tour

Gulf Specimen Marine Laboratory was established in 1963. Its mission is to further the knowledge of marine biology; to promote protection of marine life and the marine environment; to collect, classify and disseminate marine biological specimens. Tour the floating dock in the estuarine waters of Dickerson Bay. In this interactive program, participants will be able to observe and learn about some of the marine invertebrates such as barnacles, oysters, and sea slugs that inhabit the floating dock area. There will be a guided tour of the lab following the dock tour. Enjoy lunch at Mad Anthony’s on the bay following the tour. ***Lunch cost not included in the price of the class. ***
