This 3-part Lunch n Learn series will address many different aspects of safety. It is a fact that we grow vulnerable is many ways as we age, and remaining safe and independent requires proactive measures! Here is an opportunity to have lunch and real conversation with the experts from Tallahassee Police Department, Tallahassee Fire Department, Consolidated Dispatch agency (911), and the Epilepsy Foundation. Includes Catered Lunches. $10 donation per presentation. Can register individually of for all three.

Behind the scenes with Consolidated Dispatch Agency CDA
The CDA is a centralized emergency call center for our community, merging law enforcement, fire services and Emergency Medical Services, serving as a critical link to provide rapid, coordinated response to emergencies in our community. Learn about the specialized training required, the technology utilized, the process for handling 911 calls, and the program partners. (During Sept, take an actual TOUR of the center with L3X!) Demystifying Seizures: Seizure First Aid with the Epilepsy Association
Witnessing a seizure can be alarming, disorienting, and a deeply traumatic experience that often leaves bystanders feeling helpless. With a little bit of knowledge, you can make a big difference in the experience for both the person and the bystanders. This presentation will also include some community CPR education as well.
