Expired The Nile in Egypt

The Nile in Egypt (3 sessions)                     Tue., March 28, April 4 & 11, 10:30 am – Noon TSC Activity Room and on Zoom

Journey through Egypt with world traveler Tom Friedman for this three-session class as we learn about the ancient wonders along the Nile River. Session one will cover the Pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza, the Egyptian Museum, and the Mediterranean coastal city of Alexandria. Session two will tour the grand Karnak and Luxor temples, stroll through the Valley of the Kings, and see tombs of famous kings such as Tutankhamen and Ramses I & III. Session three will visit the temples of the last Egyptian Dynasty (Greek), the Aswan Dam, the Abu Simbel (the monumental creation of Ramses II), and much more. Hybrid Class in person and on Zoom. Fee $5 per session ($15 total)
