Part one: Great Florida Birding Trail Presentation

Lauren Ali, Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail Coordinator with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission presents on The Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail– a network of more than 500 protected wildlife viewing sites across the state that promotes birdwatching, environmental education and ecotourism. Learn about premier sites and birdwatching as a hobby (or obsession). This event will be followed by a guided birdwatching hike at St. Marks Wildlife Refuge on Dec 17 (see part two below). $15 donation for the series. $5 presentation only.

Part two: SPECIAL HIKE! Birding with FWC at St. Marks Wildlife Refuge
Wed, Dec 17, 9:00 am – Noon
Travis Blunden, Coordinator for Wings Over Florida, will guide this easy- moderate birding adventure. Expect to see an assortment of wintering ducks, shorebirds, warblers, and other songbirds and hopefully much, much more! Meet at Visitor Center parking lot at 9 am. Bring Brown bag lunch and binoculars (if you have them). Please attend Nov 19 presentation too. (Entrance fee or National Park pass required)
