Clay Creations, All Skill Levels

April 29 – June 10 (5 weeks, No Class May 20 and 27)
Mondays, 9 am – 12 noon

Create in clay! Sculpt hand-built functional and decorative objects. Re-experience the joys of foundational techniques that all others stem from: Pinch, coil and slab with us. A different springboard project every 6 weeks. Know the basics? We have experienced volunteers and teachers to take your clay art to the next level.

Beginners tool kits can be purchased online or in-store at Michaels, Hobby Lobby or Amazon. They do not carry the correct clay for our kilns.

If you do not already have Cone 06 clay you can order clay to be delivered the first day of class. Email the Art Program Coordinator at heathhilary.mcrae@talgov.com once you register so she can let the supplier know – it is $25 for 1 bag of clay. Please order one week before the workshop begins or there is no guarantee you will have the bag of clay for the first day.

You can also order your clay through Jesse directly via Tally Clay Supply and pick up from him directly at Tally Clay Supply.
