Summer Camp (in the Spring) for Seniors! April 17 – 21
Register for an entire week of exciting indoor and outdoor recreation and adventures for adults!
Start the week at Dorothy Oven Park, learning pine needle basketry. On Tuesday, the adventure continues at the Challenger Learning Center. Wednesday’s adventure is a guided nature hike with catered brown bag lunch. Wednesday evening, enjoy a magical bonfire including s’mores, cocoa, and campfire music. Thursday, visit the FSU Rez Lakefront Park, and spend the day kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and feasting on a cookout lunch. Friday’s activity is an urban art walk at Railroad Square. Then say farewell to your new friends with lunch at the Crum Box.

Monthly hikes on 3rd Wednesdays*
* Hot months – Arrive at 8:15 am Cooler months – Arrive at 9:45 am
- Bring a water bottle and dress appropriately for the weather
- Wear sturdy, comfortable athletic or hiking shoes
- Wear sunscreen and bug repellent
- Hikes feature a guide/leader and sweep
- All distances are approximate
Pre-registration not required. If new, please complete a registration form on site.
$3.00 per hike. Bring exact change or purchase a prepaid fitness card.
Wednesday, March 15 (9:45 am): Lake Overstreet (2 miles with a 4-mile option)
Meet at Forest Meadows Tennis Complex parking, 4750 N. Meridian Rd. (Bring extra $2 for park fee)
Wednesday, April 19 (9:45 am): St. Marks Headwaters Park Greenway (3 miles)
Meet at trailhead south of the Buck Lake & Baum Road intersection, 654 Baum Rd.
Wednesday, May 17 (8:15 am): Miccosukee Greenway, Thornton Rd trailhead, (4 miles)
Meet at trailhead corner of Thornton Rd and Miccosukee Rd. 5600 Miccosukee Rd.
Wednesday, June 21 (8:15 am): Bluebird Trail at Alford Greenway (3.3 miles)
Meet at 2500 Pedrick Rd.
Wednesday, July 19 (8:15 am): Lake Overstreet (2 miles with a 4-mile option)

Meet at Gate A on the left. 1275 Miller Landing Rd.
Wednesday, October 18 (9:45 am): Leon Sinks, (3-4 miles)
Meet at Leon Sink Trail Head Parking Area. 5.8 miles past Capital Circle on 319 S. (Crawfordville Hwy).
Turn right at sign, .2 mile to parking (Entrance fee or National Park pass required)
Wednesday, November 15 (9:45 am): JR Alford Greenway, Bluebird Trail (3.3 miles)
Meet at 2500 Pedrick Rd. (dead ends into the greenway parking lot)
*NOTE DATE! Wednesday, December 13 (9:45 am): St. Marks Wildlife Refuge
Meet at Visitor Center parking lot. Bring Brown bag lunch. (Entrance fee or National Park pass required)
